Whether there're spaces between words is a feature of languages. There're spaces between English words while there are not any spaces between Chinese. This difference is well knowed and often be considered when somebody wanna describe the defference between English and Chinese, or the variety of languages.
But what is more I notice today, is whether puncturate or not is also an option for natural languages. Nearly all the modern languages are punctuated. But some ancient languages do not have any punctuations. Specially the ancient Chinese has neither word separators nor punctuations.
The extraordinary phenomenon of ancient Chinese to deal with the ambiguities due to the lack of words separators and punctuations, is that this language is very neat and rhythmic. What interests me is that is this the result of the adaption or the reason of the ignorance of break symbol of words and sentences in the last thousands years.
